Nemanja Vajs was born in the early morning of August 23rd, 1986 in Novi Sad. His mother Verica named him a few days later. There was a very unusual mixture of blood flowing in his veins, with its roots in the Weiss and Marinšek families. He had an exciting childhood, which contributed to his formation as a unique young man, who always stayed consistent with his goals in life. He finished elementary school, although some people would rather he hadn’t. He was always being sent to the corner of the classroom, by the wall, so he couldn’t see what was happening in the school yard, which made the punishment even worse. After elementary school he finished Electrical Engineering high school, and now, he is pleased to say, is studying Graphical Engineering&Design at the Faculty of TechnicalScience in Novi Sad

After finishing elementary school, a new love was born in Nemanja – mountain biking – a fact largely to be blamed on the famous Eda. Nemanja went mad for the beauty of the Fruška Gora mountain. You couldn’t explain it in words - the bike, the forest, the silence, the smell of early flowers… After some time, his parents bought him something that was to change his life: Nemanja got his first bike. He was the happiest boy in the world, and as the days went by he spent more and more time riding it. After some time he got fit enough for his first race, which was a whole new experience for him. He invested a great deal of effort and got more and more experienced every day. He gained a great number of new friendships throughout the Balkans. One step at a time, cycling became Nemanja’s way of life...
